f the NATURE of our Travels: BIRD MENU

BIRD MENU

Welcome to the Main Menu for our collection of Bird Photos. Birds have been around for hundreds of millions of years. They are vertebrate animals which means that they have a backbone and their size ranges from tiny to very large. They are the only animal to have feathers and although all birds have wings not all birds can fly. There are currently over 8,000 species of birds. To make viewing our large number of bird photos easier the following menu has been broken into Family groups. (Note: In the interest of space, some menu groupings consist of more than one family.) To get started, select a grouping of birds that you would like to explore. Return to this menu when you are ready to select another.
