SWALLOWTAILS

Swallowtails are a large and colorful group which includes the largest butterfly in the world (the birdwing). They derive their name from the forked appearance of the tips of their wings and there are around 550 different variations of butterfly in this group. Swallowtails are unique in that some of them practice a form of mimicry and color change.
